I obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from Kent State University (2012). I received a Master’s of Science in Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Youngstown State University (2017).  While obtaining my degree, I volunteered and worked as an intern (2015), at Alta Behavioral Healthcare individual and group counseling, Camp Challenge Intensive Experiential Group Counseling and Linkage program, which provide depression education, suicide prevention and screening to Middle and High School students. I completed a Trauma Focus CBT Web certification from Medical University of South Carolina. My areas of professional focus are Psycoeducation, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing, specializing in anxiety and stress reduction treatment, depression and ADHD. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor.
