Kristen’s journey at Alta Behavioral Health began in 2005 when she began her internship as a graduate student. She completed her Masters program in 2006 with a degree in Community Counseling from the University of Akron. She received her Bachelors degree in Psychology from Ursuline College in 2003.

During her time at Alta she has been part of the Early Childhood Department and the Trauma Unit. In addition, Kristen has received training in the Incredible Years, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Parent Management Training, Motivational Interviewing, Structural Family Therapy and Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT). She is a nationally certified Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapist (TFCBT) therapist. Since 2008, she has been a member of the Continuous Quality Performance Improvement committee (CQPI). Kristen is located at Alta’s Belmont location.
