Classroom Connection, Linkages Programs Make a Difference for Students

Alta’s School-Based Mental Health Programs serve many students and families throughout the City of Youngstown and Mahoning County.

Classroom Connections (school-based counseling, consultation and training) served 1,190 students during the 2015-2016 school year. The Linkages Program (school-based mental health, education and suicide prevention/screening) served 3,464 — with 681 of these students also receiving screenings and follow-up.
