Alta’s Whitney Yaeger is Certified in Transition to Independence Programming
Whitney Yaeger, a Case Manager for Alta Behavioral Healthcare’s Therapeutic Behavioral Support Department, was Certified in Transition to Independence Programming this past September.
She works specifically with individuals aged 16-21 to assist them in transitioning successfully into adulthood. She holds a weekly TIP group to enhance individuals’ independent living skills, offer social and emotional support and build interpersonal relationship skills. She also works with the FIRST Program, assisting individuals who are experiencing their first diagnosis with Schizophrenia.
Whitney is currently taking a class through Cornell University on Supportive Employment and Benefit Analysis, which will enhance her ability to navigate employment and benefit allowances for clients in the FIRST program.
