Alta’s Sarah Macovitz Named Region 4 Social Worker of the Year

Sarah Macovitz, a School-Based/Outpatient Therapist for Alta Behavioral Healthcare, has been selected as the 2018 National Association of Social Workers (NASW) Ohio Chapter, Region 4 Social Worker of the Year.

She was chosen for this award by local social workers in recognition of her outstanding contributions to the Region 4 community.

Sarah will be recognized at the 2019 Social Work Month Celebration Gala in Columbus in March 2019. A smaller, local recognition is scheduled for Tuesday, January 15 from 5:30-7 p.m. at Neil Kennedy Recovery Clinic in Austintown.
